Peter is an Australian registered patent and trademark attorney with 35 years’ experience helping companies with mining and mineral processing technologies secure intellectual property protection internationally and in developing appropriate intellectual property strategies. Over his time in this profession, Peter has spent almost 30 years in management roles in addition to his client facing work, with 25 years in partnership, directorship and/or ownership positions. Peter has worked closely with many companies developing new mineral processing technologies, most notably in the last 15 to 20 years a number with a focus on critical and battery mineral operations, including nickel, cobalt, lithium, vanadium, manganese, graphite, and alumina.
